Terms and Conditions
GENERAL
This contract is with Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur and its franchisees, associates, related companies, subsidiaries and affiliates who operate as a Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur branded hotel.
The general terms and conditions herein together with the privacy policy, bookings and cancellations policy, fee schedule and hotel schedule on the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur website (collectively, as may be varied, amended and/or supplemented from time to time, these terms and conditions) and the booking confirmation email issued by Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur confirming your booking shall constitute a legally binding contract between you and Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur and shall be further supplemented by the internal rules and regulations that apply specifically to the hotel where you have booked your stay.
In these terms and conditions, the words “we” or “us” refer to Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur and its employees, officers, agents, suppliers and vendors and the use of the words “you” or “guest(s)” refers to any and all persons for whom a hotel room is booked.
BOOKINGS
Bookings may be made online at ucsihotels.com/bookings (Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website), through our call centres or at any of our hotels. Full payment must be made at the time of booking. We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard credit/debit cards. The available payment options are displayed during the booking process on our Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur booking website. A payment processing fee may apply.
At all times during the booking process, you will be advised to ensure the accuracy of your booking details (guest details, stay dates, room types, room rates, number of guest(s), add-ons). Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur will not be liable for errors in booking details. Booking confirmations are subject to room availability. Once your booking is successful, a booking confirmation email will be issued for each room booked and sent to the email address provided. You MUST produce your booking confirmation email(s) upon check-in at the hotel, together with your original valid photo identification document (national registration identity card, passport, driver’s licence or other identification card or document as required by the hotel). If you do not receive your booking confirmation email(s) within twenty-four (24) hours of the time of booking, please contact us via the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur website (Please refer to the 'Contact Us' section of these terms and conditions.)
Credit card bookings made within five (5) days before the check-in date will require the presentation of the physical credit card used for payment of the booking during check-in. Failure to do so may delay your check-in process.
The ‘Guest’ named in the booking confirmation must be the person staying at the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking. You may check your booking status or view your booking confirmation(s) through our website.
ROOM RATES
Room rates shown on the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur website are charged on a per room per night basis. Meals and add-ons are not included.
Room rates may or may not include service tax, service charge, VAT or GST (as applicable) and/or other similar charges or tax subject to the requirements of the location where the hotel is located. These will be charged at the prevailing rates and are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Room rates and details are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice.

Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur practices a strict NO SMOKING policy on all hotel premises (see 'Non-smoking Policy' category). Failure to comply with this policy may result in the termination of your booking and stay at the sole discretion of the hotel. A termination of your booking requires you to leave the premises immediately without any compensation or reimbursement. You shall also be liable for any costs, loss or damage to the hotel room, premises or property incurred by hotel guests or any third parties arising from the failure to comply with this policy. Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur also reserves the right to charge you for any such costs, loss or damage incurred.
RESTRICTIONS
You may not bring the following into our hotels:
- Pets or livestock.
- Pillows, bed sheets, duvets or other items of bedding.
- Any electrical appliances and/or equipment for heating and/or cooking purposes
Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur reserves the right to remove and/or confiscate any of the above items found in any hotel room without prior notice to you and charge for any costs incurred for taking such action or for any loss or damage caused to the hotel room, premises or property or to any hotel guests or third parties as a result of your failure to comply with this policy.
Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur further reserves the right to ask you to vacate the hotel and remove your belongings immediately if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have used the hotel room irresponsibly or in a manner that compromises safety, caused damage and/or harm to the hotel, its guests, staff or any other individuals or to the reputation of Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur. In such cases, no compensation or reimbursement will be provided to you.
NON-SMOKING POLICY
Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur is committed to providing a smoke-free environment within hotel premises. Smoking is prohibited in every part of the hotel including,
but not limited to hotel rooms. If a guest is caught smoking in any area within the hotel, the management shall levy a smoke elimination fee of RM200 that will be posted to the guest’s account upon check-out. Kindly note that this is in line with the Malaysian government's proposal to pass the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024 (Act 852) which effectively denotes that all hotel premises as smoke-free zones.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
All Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur hotels operate on a strict check-in and check-out policy, the times of which may vary by location.
Check-in
Booked rooms will be held for check-in until 3 pm the day after the scheduled check-in date, after which the booking will be deemed a cancellation upon no-show. Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur reserves the right to release booked rooms for the remaining stay dates to other guests. No refunds will be issued for cancelled bookings. A refundable key card deposit may be required upon check-in as a contingency should the key card be lost or damaged. The deposit will be returned to the guest once they have checked out.
Check-out
If you check out beyond the stipulated time at the hotel of your stay, Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur reserves the right, without further notice to you, to charge you an additional one (1) night’s stay at the then prevailing room rate or remove your belongings into the luggage storage facility (luggage storage charges may apply) and deny you further access into the room. Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur shall not be liable for any loss or damage to your belongings as a result of the action(s) taken.
NON-SMOKING POLICY

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Changes
Change of guest name on your booking is allowed if it is made three (3) full days or more before the check-in date subject to a name change fee.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made more than 72 hours before arrival to avoid a one-night room and tax on your card. If you do not provide your credit card details, this is considered a NON-GUARANTEED reservation and we reserve the right to release your room reservation by 6 pm on the day of arrival. Please note that for special rates, packages and certain peak seasons, this policy is subject to change. The following cancellation charges will be applicable upon your confirmation
- 50% of total estimated charges if cancelled 30 days before the actual date of arrival
- 75% of total estimated charges if cancelled 15-29 days before the actual date of arrival
- 100% of total estimated charges if cancelled 14 days before the actual date of arrival
Any booking cancellation or failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date will be treated as a no-show in respect of a booking and will result in the total payment under that booking confirmation (including any add-on charges together with any applicable tax paid) being non-refundable and will be forfeited.
OPTIONAL FACILITIES
Luggage storage
Luggage storage is available only for guests currently staying with the hotel to store their luggage or other personal belongings before check-in or after checkout, at the hotel’s discretion.
Should your luggage or item remain unclaimed upon expiry of the maximum storage period allowed, Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur/the hotel reserves the absolute right and discretion to either continue storing the luggage (luggage storage charges shall continue to apply and you shall be liable for such charges) or to dispose of the luggage or item without any liability to you.
You may use the hotel luggage storage facilities at your own risk. Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur will not be responsible for loss of or damage to the luggage, the contents therein or your personal belongings (including any valuables, even if we have been advised) during storage or the disposal process however caused.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused to the allocated room(s) or to the hotel premises or property caused by you or any persons in your party (whether or not staying at the hotel) during your stay. Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good the loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred or suffered by Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur as a result of the aforesaid. Regardless, Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice.
RIGHT TO REFUSE ACCOMMODATION
Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur reserves the right to refuse accommodation to you or any person(s) without any notice and terminate any booking without being liable for any refund or compensation for the following reasons:
- the booking has been paid through fraudulent means
- the booking has been altered by anyone other than Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur or Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur’s authorised agent or has been tampered with or the booking confirmation has been defaced (in which case Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur reserves the right to retain such booking documentation)
- the person checking in is not or cannot prove that he/she/they are the person named in the booking confirmation as permitted under the provisions of these Terms and Conditions
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur is responsible for providing the room(s) and add-ons stated in the booking confirmation email(s) and according to these terms and conditions. We do not accept any liability for failure to provide the services contracted or any of them due to circumstances beyond our control.
To the extent permitted by law, Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur does not accept any liability arising out of any occurrences beyond its control including but not limited to acts of terrorism, acts of God, flood, war, strikes, riot, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disaster, government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule (collectively known as “Force Majeure “).
Without affecting any statutory consumer rights or other laws that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited, Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur will not be liable for loss of any kind whatsoever arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your booking, use of the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur website or stay at the relevant hotel even if caused or contributed to by Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur’s negligence, wrongful act/omission or breach of these terms and conditions or breach of duty or otherwise. All activities have inherent risks to health and safety and Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur will not be responsible for any eventualities related to any activities or services booked through the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website or during your stay at a hotel.
Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur will not be responsible for any loss or damage of property left in the Guest’s room and/or the hotel property at all times.
PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur will retain all personal information you provide during booking. By making a booking with us or using the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website, you consent to our use and/or disclosure of your personal details to our franchisees, branches, related corporations, associates, subsidiaries, affiliates, assignees, proposed assignees, agents, commercial partners, service providers and/or any other parties engaged by us to enable or assist us in the provision of services or to exercise or enforce our rights hereunder and/or any other party as Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur may, in our sole and absolute discretion, deem necessary for the following purposes:
- to process your booking and for other administrative purposes
- to provide you with customer support and services
- to send you information on products and services, special or promotional offers, newsletters or customer survey forms and questionnaires. You may unsubscribe from these at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe link” on the relevant email communications.
We may also be legally obliged to disclose, and you irrevocably consent to our disclosing, your personal information to government and enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies and public authorities or as may be required by law. This may involve sending your personal information between different countries.
We will use our best endeavours to use your personal information in the manner stated herein and will not otherwise disclose your personal information without your prior written consent.

COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARKS
The Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website including the booking and other applications, text, graphics, designs, audio and video clips, hotel and destination information and all other content thereon are the property of Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur and/or its content suppliers.
You may use the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website and its content solely for personal, non-commercial and private use subject to the relevant copyright laws.
All trademarks, trade names, service marks and all other marks, whether registered or unregistered, on the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website are owned by or licensed to Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur and their respective owners and may not be used, reproduced or modified without the prior written approval of Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur.
DISCLAIMER
Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website, the services provided and all content thereon are supplied “as is” and “as available”. Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur provides no guarantee regarding the website and content. You are solely responsible for your use thereof.

GOVERNING LAWS
Your contract with Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur is governed by the laws of the country where the hotel you booked your stay with is located and any disputes shall be settled in the courts of that country.
All other matters concerning or relating to the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur website shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and the Malaysian courts shall have jurisdiction therein.
CHANGES TO THE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur reserves the right to cancel, amend or vary the arrangements and content featured on the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website and/or change, amend, vary or add to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. You will be notified of any changes to these terms and conditions as made available on the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website. Please check the Le Quadri Kuala Lumpur Website regularly for updates to these terms and conditions.
CONFLICT BETWEEN ENGLISH TEXT AND OTHER LANGUAGE TEXT
If there is any conflict or discrepancy between the English text of these terms and conditions and any translation thereof into any other language, the English text shall prevail.
